Helping Those Who Need Us Most
Tell us how you came to know the Lord.
I grew up in a house where we attended church on Sundays. However, I did not have a living relationship with Him. I then moved from a traditional Protestant denomination to a Pentecostal denomination congregation. The Holy Spirit urged me to be baptised. As I rose from the water, I heard a voice saying: “Who will I send?” and I’ve answered: “I will go.” This declaration urged me to start my studies and to spread the Good News.
Describe your call to the ministry.
My call is to share the Good News with all. My passion is to tell those who are not welcome in a traditional church that they are worthy of the saving grace of Jesus Christ as well. No matter who they are and what their circumstances are, Jesus cares for them.
Describe your ministry path and the spiritual markers along the way.
I’ve studied and got my Batchelor degree in Theology. Worthy Ministry was started in February 2022 as the Gospel had to be shared. Many souls were saved, and baptisms were done.

In your spiritual walk, how has God used adversity to mature you?
Worthy Ministry is a non-profit organisation. People cannot tithe as they have no money. We have no building of our own. We walk by faith, even when we cannot see. We stand in the Grace of God to make provision for food to serve and to be save sharing the gospel under the open skies.
Share your definition of spiritual leadership.
A spiritual leader is the person who lives in a close relationship with God. The spiritual leader is the person who drives and maintains God’s vision for men on earth—men to have eternal salvation. To be effective in His work to the Glory of his Name.· How does your personal faith influence your approach to ministry leadership?I depend on God for all I do. In all I achieve. In all obstacles and deviations. Faith ensures the Ministry’s existence and survival.
How do you express your spiritual gifts?

To Minister and Teach is our primary gift. We have a command to make disciples, to baptise them and to teach them what Jesus taught us. As the lost staying in un-humane circumstances, I pray to God for wisdom every day, for guidance in handling the situations which are painful and even life-threatening to them. Speaking and praying in tongues is done. Praying for healing and the laying of hands on those who are ill are done. Our ministry’s heartbeat is our faith in Jesus Christ.
Describe a situation where you had to navigate a conflict within the church community.

Not all church denominations and church councils have sympathy with the homeless. I always need to step back during conflict as I understand some people do not yet understand that Christ died for all. No matter where you sleep, what you look like, how you smell and what you do (correct or wrong). Jesus loved all and died so that no one should perish.
In what ways have you incorporated technology into your ministry programs?
As we do not have a “band” to assist with praise and worship, pre-recorded music is used for singing and praising.
What strategies have you used in the past for growing congregation engagement?
Ministry members are encouraged to ask questions during the service and answers are shared for all to learn from the question. People are encouraged to share what they are thankful for and testimonies of the good news received. People are also encouraged to seek counselling and private prayer when needed.
